Taynish House, Argyll.
Taynish is located at the end of a peninsula between two sea lochs in the West Highlands. The traditional B-listed laird’s house is of outstanding character and charm. However, due to a lack of continuous occupation over 30 years, the fabric of the house was in a state of considerable disrepair.
The work undertaken on this heritage property, located in a remote area, was both extensive and transformative. At the outset, the building was in a poor and deteriorated condition, requiring a complete overhaul both internally and externally. The standard of workmanship delivered by all trades involved has been exceptionally high, demonstrating great care, skill, and respect for the building’s character. As a result, the property has been given a new lease of life and is now well positioned to be enjoyed for many generations to come. - Annie Macpherson (Architect)

A Kitchen Renovation in Carradale.
Helen & Russell were keen to bring the old kitchen up to date with a splash of colour and provide a great backdrop for her cocktail parties alongside entertaining friends and family.
"Sloan Builders installed our new kitchen last year, and I love everything about it! The team were thorough, hardworking, and clean. They were happy to work with me on several bespoke features and were great at coming up with sensible solutions. I will definitely be calling on Sloan Builders for our next project!"

House at Barfad
Finding the perfect house to sit in this stunning location was the job of architects Roxburgh McEwan of Edinburgh.
"Sloan Builders built my house at Barfad in 2017/2018. We had an immediate delay due to the ground conditions not
being as the engineer I had employed had advised us. This resulted in a 6 month delay while we worked out a way of
dealing with the ground conditions. This resulted in Sloan Builders having to go off the job for around 6 months. Paul
never suggested any changes to the building cost as a result of the delay.
The team employed by Sloan Builders were first class in every respect. Site was always tidy, workmanship was excellent,
changes made by the architect were handled without any difficulty. The finishes were what made the house for my wife and
me. 7 years on and we are still as impressed by the workmanship as were when the house was handed over to us. We would be
very happy to work with Paul and his team again"
